Time Travel

There was a discussion on a blog I visit occasionally. The question under discussion was "if you perfected time travel and were able to journey back into history, what era would you visit, what would you attempt to learn, and what benefit of hindsight would you give the people you found there?"

I have thought about this for some time.

I would have journeyed back to Plymouth, Massachusetts during the era of the original settlers of our fledgling Nation.

First, of course, I would ask then what they were thinking when they put buckles on their hats.

Then, of course, I would have said, "Pass it on. Pick your own damned cotton."
